Fundraisers

Live Below the Line – It’s a campaign to raise awareness on the reality of extreme poverty, and to raise funds for organizations that fight against extreme poverty. This year (2013), I’ll be participating in this campaign to support the US Fund for UNICEF, and my goal is to raise $500 by May 31, 2013. The challenge is to live on $1.50/day, which is the current extreme poverty line, on food and drink for 5 days (April 29-May 03). This is nowhere near the true experiences of people living everyday in extreme poverty, but the goal is to hopefully raise enough awareness about this issues to get as many people as possible to help fight against it.

US Fund for UNICEF Fundraising Page –  My goal is to raise $1,000 for UNICEF. If 100 people donate, that’s only $10 each. All donations go directly to UNICEF, and your personal information will not be shared with me. If you wish to donate anonymously, you can do so; the public will not know who you are, but I will since I’m the site administrator. Please help me reach my goal, and let us all give what we can to eliminate child deaths from preventable causes.

WeFeedback Network If you want to help eliminate world hunger, join my WeFeedback Network. Think of your favorite food and enter (on the space provided on the site) the amount you pay for that particular food. The site will then calculate how many children you’ll be able to feed with that amount. You can donate the cost of your favorite food, or donate even more. The bigger the network, the better. It’s really easy.
